Your Team’s Value Proposition workshop
Reposition your team to make the most of the future
In-person workshop in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and beyond.
The world of work is constantly changing, and with AI implementation ramping up, teams are starting to wonder what it means for them and the role they play in the future of their organisations.
This hands-on workshop will lead your team through a process of uncovering the future trends that may impact your business and industry, and designing a plan to meet the future needs of your business. You’ll have a clear value proposition that clearly articulates what you do and why that’s valuable to your business.
At the end of this workshop, your team will:
have a clear, in-depth understanding of what the future might look like for your team, your business, and your industry
be able to see the shifts they need to make in order to stay relevant and continue to provide value to your business
have a draft plan and value proposition statement you can continue to build upon
be aligned behind a shared vision of the future, and what you need to do to get there.
What to expect from your workshop
Small-group discussion delving into the future trends for short, medium, and long-term horizons
Facilitated discussions to develop a draft value proposition that will meet these future needs
Facilitated discussions to understand the gap between the current state and the future state, to help develop a plan.
Who should attend
This workshop is for teams who…
are worried about the future of their team in an AI-driven world
work in a business and / or industry experiencing a lot of change and uncertainty
are newly formed and need to get clear on what they do, who they do it for, why and how
need to demonstrate the value they add to the business to their c-suite leaders.
How the course is run
To get the most out of your workshop, this workshop is facilitated in person for four hours. Please note that hybrid workshops (some people online / some in person) are not ideal for this type of training.
Course Outline
Module 1: Understanding the world of work
Learning about the state of work from the latest research
How those changes might be impacting your team and your business
Module 2: Horizon scanning
Reviewing data and thought leadership on what changes might impact your team, your business, and your industry over three horizons - short, medium, and long-term.
Discussing how these changes could result in impacts to your work as a team - what you do, who you do it for, and how and why you do it.
Module 3: Planning and positioning
With this data in mind, working together to develop a value proposition statement that will future proof your team
Understanding the gap between the current state and future state, and what that means for the shifts you need to make to your mindset, behaviours, knowledge, resources, and skills.
Module 4: Action stations!
With this gap analysis and draft value proposition, together your team will develop an action plan to start building out your value proposition and readying yourselves for the future.
We will also discuss how you will talk about your team and the value you add to your stakeholders.
